What we collect
When you submit a demo or send a message through this site, you give us the details you type into the form:
- Demo submissions: your artist name, track name, email address, and a link to your music (SoundCloud, Dropbox, or similar).
- Contact messages: your name, email, subject, and message.
- Automatic data: standard technical information your browser sends, such as IP address and the pages you visit. We use this only to keep the site secure and understand broad traffic.
How we use it
- To listen to and consider your demo for release.
- To reply to your enquiry from a human inbox.
- To prevent abuse and keep the site running.
We do not use your information for unrelated marketing, and we never sell or rent your data to anyone.
Where it goes
Form submissions are sent by email to demos@ghost-district-records.com and handled by our email provider (Resend). Your link points at a service you control (such as SoundCloud) and we only access it through your permission.
How long we keep it
We keep demo and contact correspondence for as long as is reasonable to evaluate the music or respond to your enquiry, and then delete it on request. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Email demos@ghost-district-records.comand we'll act on it without undue delay.
